Our students are working hard to close out the semester and make it to Christmas break. Many of our students are working to complete assignments on Edgenuity (our online class), and they are also working on assignments while in class. Included below are some examples of what we have worked on so far this year! This is a late post, yet I wanted to share some pictures from our solar eclipse watch party back in August! The kids had a wonderful time experiencing a once in a life time event. We are so excited to have everyone back for a new 2017/2018 school year!
I have so many fun things planned for the school year. Hillside School follows the APS calendar so I have attached a copy here for you to view. School is out for the summer! We had a wonderful school year! I am so thankful to be teaching at Hillside, to serve our children when they are going though such a trying time in their lives.
This summer our students of Hillside will be attending our summer school program. While students DO NOT receive any HS credit for attending classes we are excited to offer enrichment courses in both reading and math. Summer school is June 12-July 14, 8am-3:15pm. Students will be completing a theme each week and completing Project Based Learning based on those themes. Hello!!

More information can be found at artsnowlearning.org/about/. In July Hillside's education team will be attending the SDE training on differentiated instruction. Our classes at Hillside have many different levels of learners, differentiated instruction is important to meet the needs of individual students. More information about this Conference can be found at sde.com/NationalDI. Ms. Courtney Hello! Currently our kids are in summer school. While summer school is in session students will be working on reading and math. The regular school year starts back in August.
